FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about RESTORE.

What it does, what it doesn't, and how it works alongside you in the week-to-week work of preaching.

Will RESTORE Preaching write my sermon or homily for me?

No. RESTORE is not a sermon generator.

RESTORE uses AI to work alongside you as a thought partner and assistant. It can help you explore ideas, develop your thinking, organize a message, and refine what you have written, but it will not write the sermon or homily for you.

The preaching remains yours.

Why not just use a general AI tool like ChatGPT or Claude?

General AI tools are incredibly capable, but they were not designed specifically for Christian preaching.

RESTORE was created for Christian leaders by Christian leaders. It is designed around the work of preaching and to respect the theology, language, and boundaries of your Christian tradition.

Instead of constantly having to explain who you are, what you believe, and what kind of help you want, RESTORE is designed to begin from that context. The goal is a thought partner you can trust to work within your theology and formation, while leaving the discernment and preaching to you.

What denominations and Christian traditions does RESTORE support?

RESTORE is designed for preachers across a range of Christian traditions.

It currently supports contexts including Roman Catholic, Anglican, mainline Protestant, evangelical, Reformed/Presbyterian, and Pentecostal/Charismatic traditions, with tradition-aware guidance where those distinctions matter.

For churches that follow a lectionary, RESTORE can also work with supported lectionary calendars and readings.

RESTORE does not try to flatten those traditions into one generic Christian voice. Your theological tradition, preaching context, and pastoral judgment remain part of the work.

Is RESTORE an expert in Scripture and theology?

RESTORE is built with deep context around Scripture, preaching, and Christian faith traditions.

You should feel comfortable asking the Coach to help you find relevant passages, explore biblical themes, understand historical or theological context, consider connections within Scripture, and strengthen or refine your sermon.

But RESTORE is still powered by AI, and AI can get things wrong. Treat the Coach as a well-informed assistant, not as a final authority. Your own theological formation, judgment, trusted sources, and the teaching of your tradition should always take precedence.

Does RESTORE replace prayer, study, or discernment?

No.

RESTORE is designed to support the work of the preacher, not replace the practices that make preaching possible.

Prayer, Scripture, theological study, pastoral knowledge, discernment, and your own judgment remain essential. RESTORE gives you another way to think through that work carefully and intentionally.

Will RESTORE make my sermons sound like AI?

That is exactly what RESTORE is designed to avoid.

The goal is not to produce generic, polished AI prose. RESTORE helps you develop your own thinking, sharpen your message, and strengthen what you have written while preserving your voice.

You remain the preacher.

What can RESTORE help me do?

RESTORE can help throughout the preaching process.

You can use it to explore a biblical text, work through the tension your people may be experiencing, clarify what you want to say, develop a structure, refine a draft, plan upcoming preaching, and revisit previous sermons.

Think of it as a preaching coach and thought partner available while you work.

Is RESTORE only for preparing this Sunday's sermon?

No.

Sunday preparation is at the centre of RESTORE, but preaching does not happen one sermon at a time.

RESTORE also helps you look ahead, organize upcoming preaching, keep your previous work accessible, and learn from your preaching over time.

Who is RESTORE for?

RESTORE is built for pastors, priests, ministers, and other Christian preachers who take preaching seriously and want a better way to prepare, plan, and grow.

You do not need to be an AI expert. You just need to preach.

Is RESTORE available now?

RESTORE is currently available through limited private early access.

You can join the wait list to hear when access becomes available.
